ICON's Full day Flag Person Training course is designed to help employees comply with the regulations regarding Flag Person's on Alberta's highways. ICON's Flag Person Safety Training program is for workers with little or no previous experience as flag persons and is intended to provide basic knowledge and skills to promote a safe work environment to reduce the risk in injuries and property damage. The objective is to establish a minimum standard of competency to protect yourself, your employer and the public from accident and injury resulting from lack of training and to assist in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Working alongside a busy road way can be an extremely dangerous task. Sending workers out without the proper safety training could result in a grave error indeed!
